Ikariam is a classic strategy game developed by MyPlayCity, Inc. that takes the player on an exciting journey through ancient Greece.

As a player, you start Ikariam by choosing your own city-state and then work to develop it into a thriving metropolis. You build various structures such as mines, barracks, and temples to collect resources, train soldiers, and pray to the gods.

The game requires the player to balance various resources such as wood, marble, and gold to ensure that their city-state remains prosperous. In addition, players must form alliances with neighboring city-states to protect themselves from attacks by enemy forces.

The use of diplomacy is key in the game since it helps players form stronger alliances and win battles without actually fighting. Also, players can use their resources to trade with other players to gain an advantage in the game.

Ikariam is a strategy game that challenges the player's ability to manage resources effectively while also engaging in diplomacy and warfare.
